Bella Cosa: welcoming a new look and menu for 2020

Bella Cosa (Drewry House, 213 Marsh Wall, E14 9FJ) has now reopened following a complete refurbishment. Centred on regional Italian food its new look allows for a more casual dining experience – from a quick lunch to a special dinner, Bella Cosa has you covered.

Head chef Francesco Mammetti leads the kitchen and brings with him a wealth of experience thanks to working in kitchens such as Camillo Benso and Novikov, Mayfair. On the menu is a succinct selection of pizza, including create your own, as well as Classic Pasta dishes including a creamy Carbonara or a fishier Linguini Frutti de Mara. A trio of Risottos’ include an indulgent lobster option whilst seasonal Italian classics change throughout the year; current winter highlights include Lamb Cutlet, Fregola & Pesto Sauce and Pan-Fried Seabass with Leak and Potato.

A country famed for its wine as much as its food, Bella Cosa boasts an all Italian wine list where six whites and six reds have been carefully sourced from iconic regions including Piedmont, Chianti and Abruzzo. All available by the glass or bottle, Bella Cosa welcomes flexibility across every aspect of its menus.

Positioned on South Quay in Canary Wharf, Bella Cosa is a window lined building where views of the Wharf create a calming and picturesque London vista. Inside simple wooden tables and chairs are complimented with a neutral colour palette conveying a sense of space and light. An open window into the kitchen allows you to see your dishes being prepared and a welcoming bar at the front of the restaurant is a perfect place to enjoy an aperitif (or two!)

Located in London’s most famous business district, Bella Cosa has the rare ability to create a restaurant that is both ideal for its business clientele but also a comfortable and welcoming space for its ever-growing residential market.
