Frasers Hospitality launches social living with Capri By Fraser, China Square / Singapore
Complementing these social spaces are the many ‘instagrammable’ designs and artwork around the hotel residence. Drawing inspiration from its lively surroundings and rich history, award-winning design group BLINK created vibrant art and designs showcasing iconic structures and early Chinatown dwellers like the samsui women, all with a modern twist.
Underpinning this social living ethos is the prevalent use of technology and innovation throughout the property. The upcoming Frasers Hospitality app will meet guests’ needs on the go, from checking in/out remotely to 24/7 concierge services complemented by chatbot technology. The app will be beta tested at Capri by Fraser, China Square / Singapore this year before being rolled out across all properties. Guests will also no longer need to insert their room cards to activate power in their rooms. Instead, all rooms are powered by smart control technology that detects guest occupancy, improving overall energy efficiency. Staff will also benefit from new technology, like a separate cloud-based app that taps on the in-room smart control to prioritise housekeeping, as well as RFID tagging of linen and uniforms to aid delivery and tracking.
Innovation and technology are also used to enhance lifestyle needs, like wireless speakers and soundbars synced to your own playlist in each room, and ambient music playing from the underwater speakers in the rooftop pool.
Since 2012, the Capri by Fraser brand has grown to become Frasers Hospitality’s fastest-growing brand with over 3,300 rooms in 13 cities. Capri by Fraser, China Square / Singapore joins five other Frasers Hospitality properties in Singapore, including the recently-launched Fraser Residence Orchard, Singapore.
